Refund policy
General Returns
- Order Cancellation: Orders cannot be cancelled once they are processed. However, merchandise can be returned within 30 days of delivery under the following conditions.
- Return Conditions: Items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and in their original packaging.
- Non-returnable Items: Batteries, custom cables, prewired systems, clearance items, and custom orders are not eligible for return.
Baja Lights Specific Returns
- 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not fully satisfied with your Baja Designs purchase, contact us within 30 days to initiate a return or exchange.
- Initiating a Return: Obtain an RMA form and number by contacting our Returns Department. Returns without an RMA form will not be processed.
- Exchanges: We are happy to exchange unused items within 90 days from the invoice date, with proof of purchase.
- Shipping: If the return error is ours, we provide a prepaid label. Otherwise, shipping costs are your responsibility. Ship returns to Baja Designs Returns Department, 2950 Norman Strasse Rd., San Marcos, CA 92069.
- Restocking Fees: A 15% restocking fee applies for returns over 30 days, signs of use, missing parts, or damage due to poor packaging.
- Extended Returns: Items can be returned for exchange or store credit within 90 days if in new condition.
Victron Components Specific Returns
- Warranty Returns: Victron products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Please contact us for support with warranty claims.
- Initiating a Return: Contact our support team to obtain an RMA form and number for Victron product returns.
- Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or our error.
- Inspection and Fees: Returns are subject to inspection. Items must be in unused, original condition. A restocking fee may apply if items are not in new condition.
Batteries and Custom Cabinetry
- Batteries: All battery sales are final due to the custom nature of these products. If a manufacturing defect is identified, we will facilitate a resolution under the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Custom Cabinetry: All sales of custom cabinetry are final. We guarantee the quality of our workmanship and will address any manufacturing defects by repairing or replacing the affected item as necessary.
General Legal Disclaimer
- Limitation of Liability: Leeward Vans shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products, regardless of whether or not we have been informed about the possibility of such damages.
- Warranty Claims: Warranty claims are subject to the terms of the individual manufacturer's warranty. We encourage customers to retain all documentation to support any warranty claims.
Shipping for Returns
Costs: Return shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns.
Refunds and Exchanges
Upon receiving your return and verifying its condition, we will inform you via email about the acceptance or rejection of your return. If your return is accepted, we offer a refund, exchange the item, or provide store credit, at our discretion. A restocking fee of up to 30% may be applied, especially for returns that do not comply with our policy criteria, such as being outside the standard return window or showing signs of use.
Dealer/Distributor Policy
Adjustments require Baja Designs' approval and a valid RMA number. Freight for returns must be prepaid by the dealer and is subject to a 15% restocking fee, which can be credited on a 2 for 1 reorder basis.
